Chuquiragua Lodge is a Base Camp, located in the town of El Chaupi at 3250 meters of height in the Ilinizas Natural Reserve. It was started to be built on April 25th, 2010 and opened its doors on November 1st. The idea of opening this lodge is that of helping the climbing tourists to have a comfortable place to stay while being part of their acclimatization program.
This lodge has a nice restaurant, a camping area and its capacity for 30 people, distributed as follows:
- 2 multiple rooms for 8 pax.
- 2 rooms for 5 pax each.
- 2 double rooms / 2 simple rooms.
Each room has its private bathroom with a hot and cold water shower.
Very soon, a new restaurant, a spa, a jacuzzi, and 6 very comfortable rooms with a great view to the volcanoes, will start to be built. All this will be carried out and finished during the year 2011 with the challenge of offering better conditions to all those who love extreme sports.
