The Hacienda Hotel Gourmet Umbria is located one hour south of Quito along the Panamerican Highway towards Machachi. Before entering Machachi turn right at the second set of traffic lights towards the village of Aloasi. From there follow the signs to Hacienda Umbria (3-4km from there).The hacienda is found around 100 metres from the railway line. The Hacienda itself is located on a small hill within evergreen grasslands surrounded by the mountains El Corazon, Rumiñahui, Ilinizas and Cotopaxi.
Hacienda Umbria is a really exceptional place full of character. It is a Gourmet Boutique Hotel located in Ecuador, on the foothills of the Corazon volcano, a few minutes from the town of Machachi, less than an hour from the capital, Quito.
