This cozy hostel is situated in the indigenous village of Peguche at the foot of the Imbabura volcano; Otavalo is reached within a 10 minute drive. The hostel is surrounded of original indigenous lifestyle which makes this place so special. Beautiful nature, offering great walking opportunities. Peguche still maintains many traditions. It’s location near the old railroad track that runs right through the middle of the hotel building althought no train has been running since 1997 in the area. Nowadays, the railway is used as a foot path by the people of the community.
