This is one of the most beautiful islands and it’s right off the southeastern tip of Santiago in the whole archipelago. It has a turquoise-colored channel, spatter cones, lava tubes and pahoehoe lava. There is only a short trail along the coast because of the fragile formations that are situated over here. On this island you will find marine iguanas, sea-lion cubs and orange crabs. You can snorkel in the channel and find some penguins here. In the deeper parts of the channel are manta rays and sharks. Near the beach are a lot of plants including the lava cactus.
